LX Paddle Shift Modules ( wireless ). *AMG Paddles not included
Adding paddle shifters to your LX car can be a hassle. 2005-07 cars offer a wired option but that requires pulling the steering assembly down to the clockspring. On 2008-12 the wired solution is not available.
There are some wireless solutions available but each one has it's drawbacks. (Cost, Batteries, etc..) This kit will work on all year LX cars, has no batteries, and is easy to install.

Low Power Draw When Not In Use ( < 1ma )
One of the challenges of a wireless system is that there is no "Switched Power" supply in the steering wheel. For this reason the transmitter is always consuming power.
This kit will "Sleep" drawing less than 1 milliamp of power. The car normally will draw ~ 40ma of power while dormant. So the addition of 1ma more is negligible.

Sometimes Smaller is Better
The transmitter module is small and can easily be tucked into the small space available at the top of the steering wheel cavity.
The system is designed to be used with AMG paddles that can be easily purchased for ~ $120 from Mecedes.

The following features are listed here...
- The pair has a unique pairing ID that inhibits accidental shifting from a kit installed in another car.
- While sleeping the transmitter will draw less then 1ma of power.
- While awake it only draws 28ma of power from the LIN bus
- Once the transmitter is awakened it will not go back to sleep untill the car key is cycled OFF.
- Control logic that only allows one paddle to be pulled at a time (from a signal point of view)
- Pull and hold both paddles at once for 3 seconds will "Reboot" the modules.
